Steven and Yvonne founded the business almost two decades ago. Based in West Lothian we are well situated to provide a reliable and cost effective service throughout the UK.

With a strong commitment to customer service, we have built a great reputation for reliable and comprehensive freight distribution, haulage, courier, pallet delivery services across the UK. The company has matured into a highly successful road haulage firm, with a great reputation amongst customers and competitors alike.

Yet we have to adapt with the times and strive to improve customer service and satisfaction Our aim is to satisfy and in far exceed our customer’s expectations, and therefore insure a positive image and good reputation.

Who we are?

Partners Steven & Yvonne Salmond manage and supervise the operational and financial functions of the business. Yvonne will on a daily basis co-ordinate the operation activities assisted by husband Steven. Yvonne also carries out the payroll, invoicing and other duties assisted by daughter Stacey.

We have a good team of experienced and competent drivers working for Salmonds Transport who deliver a prompt and professional service. Our fleet maintenance is carried out by James Miller who co-ordinates all maintenance requirements for all 22 vehicles in our fleet.
